Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR uses a technique called bilateral stimulation to help reprocess traumatic memories. By reprocessing these memories we are able to store the memory correctly. This allows the brain and body to recognize that this event is in the past and not occurring now. EMDR is highly researched and is one of the most effective therapies for trauma.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is similar to EMDR in the reprocessing of traumatic memories or experiences. Centralizing around the concepts of permission, IFS heals the traumatized parts of ourselves through self compassion and curiosity. IFS is an evidence based therapy that can be used with anxiety, addiction, depression, eating disorders, trauma, and more.
